Women have so many roles in life and it is important that we take care of ourselves from the inside out. This blog will include tips on Self care as a Christian Women!
Tip 1: Rise 30 minutes early to spend time with God. During, this time you can read, worship, and listen to God. I love the bible App called YouVersion. The bible App have plans that you can read based on what areas you are weak in for Ex: fear, worry, stress, divorce, women, reading through the bible and so much more. Journaling while you spend that time with God is also a great idea! It's important that you write down what God is saying to you during, that time. Check out our selection of journals on the website.
Tip 2: Take care of your temple. "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you. Corinthians 6:19. "You don't want the Lord to dwell inside a unhealthy temple." You can be spiritual in shape and not in physical shape. Eating whole food, fruits, and vegetables, and drinking water is very important for our bodies. Fasting is very vital for your spirit man. Fast at least once a week ask God what type of fast you should do and go for it!
Tip 3: GET SOME REST!!!!!!!!!! Statics show that over half of Americans are sleep deprived. 35.2% of adults in the U.S report on sleeping on average for less than 7 hours per night. This week assignment is to take a hour long bath with some worship music and just BREATH!
Tip 4: Have fun! A-lot of times we can become so busy that we forget to enjoy life. As, christian women we have families, ministries, etc. Do me a favor don't allow life to keep you from being the best version of yourselves.
